Designed for students with a solid foundation in glassblowing, this series explores the forms, techniques, and creative decisions behind functional glassware through three focused sections. Students are encouraged to take the full 14-week journey to develop a complete set of mugs, bowls, and plates while building a deeper understanding of form, consistency, and design across a unified body of work. For those with specific goals or limited availability, individual sections are also available à la carte, allowing students to focus on the forms and skills they are most interested in developing. Throughout the series, we'll explore form, proportion, consistency, and efficient working methods while reviewing color application techniques, including overlay and supio making. Each section builds on core glassblowing skills while introducing new challenges, helping students create functional pieces that feel intentional, connected, and uniquely their own.
