Service Description

*Dates: This class will not meet 11/23, students will meet 11/9, 11/16, 11/30, and 12/7 Kiln Casting teaches students to manipulate solid glass into almost any shape. Students will start with with wax, clay and plaster models, and focus on learning core skills of plaster-silica mold making and lost wax casting. Students will be introduced to cold working as well as kiln firing schedules and will gain a basic understanding how glass changes during the firing process.
