Section 1: Cane Pulling Week 1 Sunday Jan 12, Tues Jan 14 core cane pull warm up Week 2 Sunday Jan 19, Tues Jan 21 Veil cane - opaque core- transparent color on second layer Week 3 Sunday Jan 26, Tues Jan 28 Ribbon cane - twisted cane Week 4 Sunday Feb 2, Tues Feb 4 Helix cane - cane core+ twisted cane Intermediate Skills Workshop, ISW, is designed to introduce and develop an array of new skills and techniques for students who have exceeded the level of training offered by the Public Glass core curriculum ( Levels 1-4) Level 4 or similar experience is the prerequisite for this class. Email operations@publicglass.org if you have taken courses outside of Public Glass. This is a weekly class running 4 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:30pm (or Sunday from 12:30-3:30pm) which will include demonstrations followed by hands on practice time for the students in each session. Students may switch to the Sunday class based on availability if you cannot make a class on tues. There are a total of 3 sessions in one year- Fall (14 weeks), Spring (14 weeks), and Summer (7 weeks). Students now have the option to sign up for individual sections instead of entire 14 week course. There are 3 sections in each 14 week session. * ISW blowslots are not available for those only taking sections. ISW students must be enrolled in entire 14 week course to purchase ISW blowslots.
