Service Description
Fall is for solidifying our fundamental knowledge and leveling up our skills. Let’s get into the challenge of working thin like Venetians, and learn and practice the basics of goblet making. Understanding of bit work and garage assembly will reward you far and beyond just making of a fancy wine glass. This course will be broken into 3 parts- pulled cups, on the blowpipe goblet, and garage assembled goblets. Intermediate Skills Workshop is designed to introduce and develop an array of new skills and techniques for students who have exceeded the level of training offered by the Public Glass core curriculum, Levels 1-4. ISW sessions will include: A weekly class on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:30 or Sunday afternoons from 12:30-3:30, which will include demonstrations and discussions designed to move your process forward. Note: this format does not include outside practice sessions. Sept 5th- Dec 12th, skipping class on 10/31 for Tues, 11/26 Sun *prorated options available- email operations for more questions
