Section 2: Rolling Up Cane *Need to bring 2 cane set ups if you are only taking this section Week 1 Sunday Feb 9, Tues Feb 11 Prep kiln shelf, collar practice, bubble set up, cane cutting plate set up Week 2 Sunday Feb 16, Tues Feb 18 Collar roll up- supio Week 3 Sunday Feb 23 , Tues Feb 25 Pick up supio Week 4 Sunday March 2, Tues March 4 Bubble roll up- blank Week 5 Sunday March 9, Tues March 11 Pick up blank Week 6 Sunday March 16, Tues March 18 Design your own Intermediate Skills Workshop, ISW, is designed to introduce and develop an array of new skills and techniques for students who have exceeded the level of training offered by the Public Glass core curriculum ( Levels 1-4) Level 4 or similar experience is the prerequisite for this class. Email operations@publicglass.org if you have taken courses outside of Public Glass. This is a weekly class running 6 weeks on Sunday afternoons from 12:30-3:30pm (or Tuesday from 6:30-9:30pm) which will include demonstrations followed by hands on practice time for the students in each session. Students may switch to the Tuesday class based on availability if you cannot make a class on Sunday. There are a total of 3 sessions in one year- Fall (14 weeks), Spring (14 weeks), and Summer (7 weeks). Students now have the option to sign up for individual sections instead of entire 14 week course. There are 3 sections in each 14 week session. Students can take any of the sections individually. * ISW blowslots are not available for those only taking sections. ISW students must be enrolled in entire 14 week course to purchase ISW blowslots.
