Service Description

Accelerate your glassblowing skills with this 5-week class! This course will further your understanding of how to properly execute a final piece. Students will work towards independence, gaining confidence in operating the studio facilities and gaining skills in glassblowing-specific problem solving. You will also explore platters, handles and develop your skills in solid color application. This is the last step in order to become a renter in the hotshop! Memberships available after taking the class. Level 5 or ISW will be the next step for more instruction. Level 5 will have more intimate instruction and a slower pace with a concentration on the basics and optic molds. ISW has rotating curriculum and is meant to expose students to a wide variety of techniques. Have more questions? Email operations@publicglass.org.
