Service Description
Ever wondered how these tiny little glass animals are made? Get a close up and personal experience at making your very own in this introductory class. In this 3 hour class, you will get to make your own little glass animal sculpture. Students will use solid glass rods over an oxygen propane torch to heat, cut, flatten, and sculpt using steel and graphite tools. Students will learn how to layer glass, add texture and use gravity to form shapes. Interested in learning more about flameworking? The next step is to take the 4 week level 1 class in the flameshop!
