Fusing & Slumping
Fusing and slumping, at its most simple, involves cutting and layering pieces of cold glass and heating up in a kiln until they soften, fuse and bend into simple molds. The process lends itself to functional pieces, such as dishes, jewelry, frames, tiles and plaques, as well as wall art and sculptural items. Fusing and slumping is perfect for the more meticulous and patient and allows for very complex and colorful work without the heat of the hot or flame shops. Ages 10+
All glass objects must be cooled for a period of at least 12 hours after creation, and will be available for pickup as soon as the following day.
Please note that we have a 7 Day Cancellation Policy for all of our classes and workshops.
