

Rental Rates
Glass
Blowing
Studio rental is subject to availability. Common courtesy among renters and
students is expected at all times.
Each blow slot is three hours long and rentals run $120 to $160 depending
on whether you are a member and if you have opted for a rental incentive program
- please refer to the Membership Application
for prices. Please contact admin@publicglass.org
for special arrangements.
Rental includes approximately 2 sq. feet of annealer floor space. We also
maintain a set of basic tools (hand tools, paddles, blocks, pipes and punties)
for renters and students.
Glass Allowance
For blowing and casting we allot 25 lb. of glass per each
rental slot. An additional 1.25 cents a pound will be charged
for more than 25 lbs.

Lampworking Shop Rental
Lampworking shop rental is $15/hr.
and includes the use of basic studio equipment, including a torch (contact
PG Warmshop staff to inquire about torch specs.)
Additional equipment
may be reserved at the rates listed below:

Ladle
Casting
Ladle casting is occasionally scheduled and open for rental; as this is particularly material-intensive, please contact us to determine the needs of your project.

Working
Standard cold working facilities and equipment are free for Members to use on work that was made at Public Glass. The facilities are otherwise available for $25.00 an hour, billed in whole-hour increments.

Information
• Our kilns are run by Digitry GB4
• We recommend that you mark your own tools and equipment to avoid confusion.
• Storage space and lockers are available for rent to regular studio
users.
• Dedicated studio space is also available for limited-term projects;
please contact us regarding your intent to determine availability.
• The cost to repair or replace any damaged equipment resulting from
misuse will be billed.
• Special requests or projects can be accommodated, but must be discussed
with the facilities manager beforehand.
